Logistics is one of the most dynamically developing branches of economy all over the world. By studying this specialization you will acquire knowledge, qualifications and skills in the field of logistics process management at the company level, in process systems and sequences, in supply and value creation chains, in spatial systems.
You will also learn how to use specific algorithms and packages and how to design cooperative structures.
Logistics professionals are in demand in virtually every area of the economy, both domestic and international. Therefore, after completing this specialization, career opportunities await you in specialist positions related to this field, such as freight forwarder or delivery specialist. However, logisticians are also excellent managers and analysts, which makes the prospects for interesting work extremely wide.
The education model is focused on finance and accounting subjects and specialization subjects.
The first two semesters comprise courses taken together for all students in a given field of study.

In the second year, you can choose courses in social communication and public relations to gain specialist training in this area. In semester III you should choose two out of three courses conducted in the form of lectures and discussions, and two out of three courses in the form of seminars. In semester IV – you must choose three of the four courses taught in the form of seminar.

Starting from semester three, students also participate in a undergraduate thesis seminar, during which they prepare their master’s thesis under the supervision of a supervisor. The diploma examination with a thesis defence concludes the studies and allows for the award of the Master’s degree.
By choosing to study at UEHS, you can be sure that the tuition fee will not change throughout the duration of your studies. You can pay the tuition fee once for the entire year of study or spread over a semester payment. This allows you to decide how you want to plan your expenses.
As part of the UEHS discount programme, you can take advantage of various reductions and promotions. They are usually applied in the first year of study. It means that your tuition fees will be reduced by the amount of the discounts granted. Candidates who register and pay their tuition fees within one month of registration will receive an English language course for free. The course covers 80 hours of English classes and 20 hours of classes of Polish culture.

You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.
In the academic year 2020/2021, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 292 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 450 /month to PLN 650 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 450 /month.

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.
Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 450 /month.

A social scholarship may be awarded to a student who is in a difficult financial situation. In the academic year 2020/2021, the amount of income per person in the student’s family entitling to receive a scholarship was set at an amount not higher than PLN 1,051.70.
Depending on the monthly net income, scholarships ranging from PLN 1,050 / month to PLN 1,250 /month were awarded per one student’s family member.

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 79 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 800 /month to PLN 1000 /month.

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.
The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.
In 2020, we granted 64 allowances for a total of PLN 113,200.50. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 1,000 to PLN 2,500 at a time.
