Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Healthcare Management at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw is a unique offer for individuals who see their professional future in management positions in the healthcare sector. This is the first program of its kind in Poland, which allows to obtain a directional education at the Master’s degree level and, at the same time, a high level of managerial competence confirmed by the Master of Business Administration (MBA) certificate.

So, if you already have at least a bachelor’s degree and are looking for a Master’s program that goes beyond the standard in terms of preparing you for career advancement – look for a program that will provide you with not only broad directional knowledge, but also professional, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

The program is condensed into five semesters: the first three are devoted to management courses, including key tools and strategies. Meanwhile, the last two semesters are devoted to health care management topics that will prepare you to coordinate, monitor and implement projects, innovations and development strategies in the health care system and in different types of treatment facilities. Our goal is for you to graduate from this program not only with specialized knowledge, but also with the ability to put it into practice in project or team management positions. If, in order to gain additional competencies, you decide to continue your education at the executive Master of Business (EMBA) postgraduate studies offered by UEHS, you will be able to take them as early as the 5th semester – so that in six semesters (including postgraduate studies) you will have obtained all the most important managerial qualifications.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Healthcare Management is a unique 5-semester program that allows you to earn both a Master’s degree and a certificate of completion from a prestigious MBA program. In addition to deepening their specialized knowledge in the field of healthcare management, students in this program intensively develop management skills, preparing them for career advancement.

SECOND YEAR OF STUDY

In the third semester, students supplement their business knowledge with issues of management strategy. From the fourth semester, profiled classes on the healthcare sector begin. The program also incorporates professional practice in the form of conducting your own project, as well as a master’s seminar preparing for thesis defense.

THIRD YEAR OF STUDY

In the final semester, students continue to deepen their directional knowledge in healthcare management. At this stage, they also complete the second part of their practice, as well as the defense of their thesis, on the basis of which they receive a master’s degree.

Scholarships - easier than you think

While studying at UEHS, you can take advantage of a wide range of financial support from the state budget and European funds, as well as benefit from special discounts with UEHS discount program

You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.  

Scholarship
The scholarship may be awarded to any student who obtained an average grade not lower than 4.5 in a academic year given.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 350 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 525 /month to PLN 1025 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

Sports scholarships

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.

Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

Special scholarships for disabled people

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 150 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1275 /month to PLN 1575 /month.

Allowances

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.

In 2021, we granted 40 allowances for a total of PLN 197,200. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 3,000 to PLN 5,000 at a time.
