\nThe main objective of the project titled \u201eKierunek: Doskona\u0142o\u015b\u0107 \u2013 Systemowe Wsparcie Rozwoju Dydaktycznego w Uczelni\u201d (Towards Excellence \u2013 Systemic Support for the Development of Teaching at the University) is to improve the quality of the teaching process at VIZJA University. This objective will be achieved, among other measures, through the establishment and launch of the Didacting Excellence Office \u2013 a specialized unit responsible for the systematic evaluation of teaching activities and the development of teaching competencies among academic staff and doctoral students.
\nThe project objective will be achieved by 31 July 2028.<\/p>\n
\nThe target group of the project is VIZJA University, where a unit responsible for improving the quality of the teaching process will be established. The target group also includes 100 academic staff members (teaching and research-teaching staff) involved in teaching, as well as a minimum of three doctoral students participating in the VIZJA University Doctoral School.<\/p>\n
\n1) Task 1 \u2013 Didactic Excellence Office (DEO)<\/strong>
\nThe purpose of establishing the Didactic Excellence Office is to provide systemic support for the quality of education by implementing, coordinating, and developing activities aimed at enhancing the teaching competencies of academic staff and doctoral students. The Office will play a key role in monitoring the teaching process, evaluating it, and initiating corrective and developmental actions in accordance with the needs of the academic staff, faculty authorities, and students.<\/p>\n
\nThis task involves the implementation of a comprehensive competency development program for academic staff and doctoral students. The program will include both mandatory and elective training conducted in workshop and lecture formats. Mandatory training will cover digital skills, teaching competencies, green transformation competencies, and universal design. Elective training will be selected based on the participants\u2019 expressed needs and will cover topics including the use of professional databases, flipped classroom methodology, and counteracting discrimination and exclusion.<\/p>\n
\nThis task plans the organization of study visits for academic staff and doctoral students to leading academic centers abroad, recognized for their innovative teaching solutions.
\nFor academic staff, the visits will serve as an impetus to develop new methodological competencies, familiarize themselves with educational tools used in practice, and broaden professional perspectives.
\nDoctoral students will have the opportunity to develop teaching competencies early in their academic careers, addressing the need to strengthen their role in the education process.<\/p>\n
\nThe main outcomes of the project include the adaptation of education to the needs of economic development as well as the green and digital transformation of higher education institutions, and the acquisition of competencies or qualifications by 88 individuals participating in higher education, supported by the ESF+.<\/p>\n
\nWe hereby inform you that it is possible to report suspicions of non\u2011compliance between the Project or the Beneficiary\u2019s activities and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (the \u201cCRPD\u201d), adopted in New\u202fYork on 13\u202fDecember\u202f2006 (Journal of Laws 2012, item 1169, as subsequently amended), to either the Managing Authority (Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of Poland) or the Intermediary Institution (National Centre for Research and Development). Signals, reports, or complaints concerning potential violations of the CRPD by FERS projects may be submitted by individuals (project participants or their representatives), participating institutions in EU fund implementation, or civil\u2011society organizations (associations, foundations). Submissions should be made via (in each case listed below, the notification is deemed to have been submitted in written form):
\n1) traditional mail \u2013 in a letter addressed tothe Ministry: Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of Poland, ul. \nThe project support site and the Project Office are located on the campus of VIZJA University at ul. Okopowa 59 in Warsaw. The building has no architectural barriers that negatively affect project implementation and includes numerous adaptations for persons with disabilities. Key accessibility features include:
\n1. Accessible entrance \u2013 appropriately wide front doors, level surface transitions, a doorbell before the entrance, and assistance available from reception staff.
\n2. Accessible elevators \u2013 wide, spacious, equipped with Braille buttons, audio announcements, and capable of bringing wheelchair users, cane users, visually or hearing\u2011impaired individuals, and others with health challenges to every floor.
\n3. Barrier\u2011free interior space \u2013 corridors, stairwells, exercise rooms, lecture halls, the library, the cafeteria, and administrative offices are free from horizontal and vertical obstacles. Persons using wheelchairs, canes, walkers, or other orthopedic aids, seniors, and parents with strollers can move around without difficulty.
\n4. The University allows entry for individuals accompanied by a guide dog.
\n5. Accessible parking \u2013 underground parking (levels \u20131 and \u20132) provides spaces for people with disabilities that are clearly marked, free of barriers, and allow direct access to any floor of the building.
\n6. The building is well connected via Warsaw Public Transport. The nearest bus and tram stop to the entrance is the \u201cNiska\u201d stop. Both stops support low\u2011floor access. On the route from the stops to the building entrance there are no architectural obstacles such as stairs, bridges, or high curbs. Along the sidewalk adjacent to the university\u2019s premises, guide lines for visually impaired or partially sighted people enable safe travel from VIZJA University to the nearest city transport stop. Information on public transport accessibility for people with disabilities can be found on the \u201cBarrier\u2011Free Communication\u201d website operated by Warsaw Public Transport<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\nThe Project Office is located in the European Projects Department (6th floor, room\u202f614 on the VIZJA University campus at ul. Okopowa 59, Warsaw).
