The Polish-Ukrainian WOLSKA CENTRE for Ukrainians was established thanks to the joint effort of people who care about others.<\/p>\n<p>In the photos, you can see the organizers and guests of the ceremony: Director of the Wolski Cultural Centre Krzysztof Miko\u0142ajewski, his deputy Kamila Koz\u0142owska, Rector of the UEHS Dr. hab. Konrad Janowski, Mayor of Wola District Krzysztof Strza\u0142kowski, Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Aldona Machnowska-G\u00f3ra, Dean of the Faculties of Political Science and Administration and Law of AEH Tomasz Kownacki and others.<\/p>\n<p>In these difficult times, each of them has contributed to the opening of the Centre, which has already helped and will continue to help those in need. Ukrainians can come here and receive support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Centre includes:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#x1f539; Information point for residents and refugees<br \/>\n&#8211; language assistance<br \/>\n&#8211; help with translation of documents<br \/>\n&#8211; help in finding contacts to aid and charity institutions<br \/>\n&#8211; help with administrative matters<\/p>\n<p>&#x1f539; Legal aid on-call service<br \/>\n&#x1f539; Activities for children<br \/>\n&#x1f539; Activities\/meetings for adults<br \/>\n&#x1f539; Computer workstations with Ukrainian language<br \/>\n&#x1f539; On-call psychological support.<\/p>\n<p>We are also pleased to announce that our students are actively helping the Centre as volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our lecturers, Olga Rawa-Siarkowska and Jadwiga Ford, provided training in psychological support. Thanks to you, our students are now helping those in need at the Centre. Others are making posters, films, sending out mail, transporting donations and looking for flats.
