An Energetic Start – Discover Studies Behind the Scenes

We kicked off Open Days with a dynamic presentation where participants learned:

• which study programmes VIZJA University offers – in Polish and English, full-time and part-time, on-campus and hybrid modes,

• step-by-step recruitment for studies in 2025 – stress-free and without unnecessary formalities,

• opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ programme – from semester exchanges to internships abroad,

• how the Academic Career Office supports students in finding internships and jobs from their first year,

• the types of support offered by the Office for Students with Disabilities – because equal opportunities are our standard,

• what initiatives AZS VIZJA University undertakes – from volleyball teams to national competitions,

• how the Student Government operates – co-creating university life and fostering social development.

This part allowed candidates to experience the university’s atmosphere firsthand – seeing that VIZJA is not just buildings and lectures but a vibrant space for action and shaping the future.

Barrier-Free Conversations – Booth, Question, Answer

After the presentation, it was time for individual conversations. Each school had its own booth, allowing candidates to speak directly with programme representatives, ask questions, and clarify any doubts.

Schools present included:

• School of Human Sciences

• School of Humanities and Fine Arts

• School of Social Sciences

• School of Medical and Health Sciences

• School of Business

• School of Computer Science & Technologies

This was a space for detailed discussions about study programmes, learning modes, internships, and career paths. Candidates could compare programmes, ask questions about topics that truly interested them, and discover what makes studying at our university stand out.

Practical Experience Right from the Start – Three Thematic Workshops

The biggest excitement was generated by practical workshops led by experts—participants could choose the topic most aligned with their interests:

• Psychotherapy with Anna Nizioł-Waga, MA – Interactive sessions focused on patient relationships, empathy, and active listening. Participants learned the basics of therapeutic communication and practiced role-play scenarios in pairs.

• Emergency Medical Services with Dr. Marcin Madziała – Intensive training using modern simulators, anatomical manikins, and VR technology, allowing participants to practice responses in realistic life-threatening situations.

• Physiotherapy with Dr. Sławomir Kozieł – Equipment demonstrations and practical exercises on professional therapy beds. Participants experienced firsthand the use of massage devices and electrostimulation equipment.

Participants received educational vouchers for attending the workshops, redeemable during the recruitment process.

Campus Tour and… Something Sweet

At the end of the event, participants joined a guided tour of the VIZJA Park campus at 59 Okopowa Street, where they saw modern classrooms, communal areas, and specialist laboratories. There were also refreshments, fostering conversations in a more relaxed atmosphere.
