Why choose this programme?

Second-cycle (Master’s) studies in the Vocal Studies – Classical Singing study path, offered within the Art Education programme at VIZJA University, combine intensive vocal practice with subject-specific theoretical knowledge and the development of competencies in singing pedagogy.
This programme is designed for graduates of at least first-cycle studies in music-related fields who wish to continue their artistic and teaching development at an advanced level, as well as for graduates of other disciplines who demonstrate appropriate vocal, stage, and didactic preparation for in-depth education in this area.

Classes focus on the development of advanced classical singing techniques and teaching skills, based on knowledge of voice emission, interpretation of vocal repertoire from various historical periods, and conscious control of breathing and articulation techniques, as well as work with text and stage movement. Particular emphasis is placed on methodological training, preparing students to independently conduct vocal classes in a variety of artistic and educational settings.
If you want to pursue a career in stage performance and at the same time gain pedagogical qualifications to educate future generations of singers – this unique programme was created with you in mind.

They can pursue careers as stage artists – soloists, members of choral ensembles, and participants in a wide range of operatic, concert, and theatrical projects, both within cultural institutions and as part of independent artistic initiatives.
They also possess pedagogical competencies that enable them to work as classical singing and voice emission teachers, conducting individual and group vocal classes.
This study path is intended for individuals who wish to combine stage activity with teaching, sharing their experience, musical sensitivity, and passion for singing with future generations of vocal artists, or who plan to continue their academic development through doctoral studies in the field.
