Why are these studies worth choosing?

Physiotherapy is a field with a long tradition and great significance for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions resulting from injuries, accidents, various diseases or ageing. Advances in mevidicine and technology are driving the dynamic development of non-invasive treatment methods used in physiotherapy – such as manual therapies, laser therapies, physical therapies and many others – which creates excellent opportunities for future physiotherapists to expand their knowledge, practice and specialisation in different areas. This widely respected and socially necessary medical profession enables not only the continuous improvement of qualifications and gaining diverse experience but also encourages a creative approach to developing therapeutic solutions tailored to individual cases. This is a course of study for people who are proactive, empathetic and patient, enjoy interacting with people and seek deep personal satisfaction from helping others.

The practical-profile Physiotherapy programme at VIZJA University fully complies with the legal requirements of the current Act on the Profession of Physiotherapist. It covers specialised topics in the fields of medical sciences, health sciences, and physical culture sciences, with particular emphasis on the importance of physiotherapy across various medical disciplines (orthopaedics, traumatology, rheumatology, neurology, paediatrics, geriatrics, sports medicine, and more). Students deepen their understanding of diagnostics and modern physiotherapeutic treatment methods, while developing the skills necessary to conduct physiotherapy processes based on individual patient needs and cooperation with a multidisciplinary medical team. A key element of the programme includes physiotherapy internships in reputable medical facilities with various profiles, as well as the development of interpersonal skills necessary to work with patients and their families, always in accordance with professional ethics and responsibility.

Physiotherapy – what can you do after graduation?

As a qualified physiotherapist you can find employment in public and private health care institutions – hospitals, clinics etc., as well as specialist rehabilitation centres, sports medicine centres, nursing homes, hospices, spas and sanatoriums. Physiotherapists can also pursue a career in the wellness industry (e.g. wellness centres, spa hotels, massage clinics) and the fitness industry (the services of a physiotherapist are increasingly becoming standard in gyms and sports clubs). After graduating with a degree in physiotherapy from VIZJA University, you can also open your own physiotherapy practice as part of your professional development, become involved in scientific and research activities or even be active in the organisation and development of healthcare services.

This programme
is for you if:

You are interested in the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system and its treatment methods.

You have the physical and psychological aptitude to work as a physiotherapist.

You want to help people professionally regain their mobility, health, and overall well-being.
