As of July 1, if you are planning to study in Poland and your citizenship requires obtaining a visa it is necessary to go through the Recognition procedure carried out by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) for any of your educational documents (high school diploma if you’re a candidate for Bachelor studies or bachelor diploma for Master studies candidates).
Useful liks:
Starting from the 1st of July every international student must be included in the POL-on register. All Polish consulates check this database when processing visa applications. This means that being listed in the register is an essential condition for a visa to be issued. Candidates are entered into the register once they receive their acceptance letter from the university.
Starting from the 1st of August, every candidate who holds a non-EU diploma must prove knowledge of the language of instruction at a minimum B2 level to study at any university in Poland. Please note that universities in Poland are no longer allowed to conduct internal language exams – which means that only officially recognized certificates are accepted (a list of recognized certificates: akty prawne do ISAP-u-X kad on page 3). VIZJA University has established cooperation with two trusted providers: Pearson and Cambridge and we can organize their certificate exams.
The entry exams are obligatory starting from the 1st of July. They concern all candidates who do not hold a diploma from an EU country. The exam itself is organized fully online, through our Extranet platform.
