The practical nature of the program also shapes competences in the field of financial statement analysis, risk management and tax accounting. It prepares you to start a professional career in the financial world.

The specialization prepares you to work in the accounting and bookkeeping departments, controlling and corporate governance as well as financial consulting, as well as to work as the manager of the accounting and financial department of production, trade, service, insurance companies, public institutions, state and local government administration.

Second year of studies

In the second year of studies, you can choose courses in the field of enterprise accounting to gain specialist preparation in this field. In semester III, you should choose two of the three courses conducted in the form of lectures and classes, and two of the three courses in the form of seminars. In semester IV – three out of four courses should be chosen in the form of seminars.

Starting from the third semester, students also participate in the diploma seminar, during which they prepare their master’s thesis under the supervision of the supervisor. The diploma examination with the defence of the master’s thesis completes the studies and allows you to obtain the professional title of master’s degree.

The content of the study program may change as a result of efforts to improve the quality of education and adapt the teaching offer to the current challenges of the labor market. Each change is approved by the University Senate and introduced with the aim of preparing students for their future careers in the best possible way.
