On October 23 and 24, the International Academic and Business Council (IABC) in cooperation with the School of Humanities & Fine Arts organized 1.5-hour workshops for the best English and German Philology Students.
The main aim of IABC is to build permanent cooperation between the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw and outstanding people related to science, business, and operating in non-profit areas.
Online workshops entitled “Interpreting in the EU institutions – the perspective of the Polish booth, practical exercises introducing interpreting in the language pair Polish<->English / Polish<->German” were held by Ms. Karolina Wachowicz, who is a very experienced conference interpreter accredited to the European Union institutions. She works for the European Parliament as an Auxiliary Conference Interpreter in the Polish booth.
