On 7 March this year, we had the honour of welcoming His Excellency Luís Manuel Ribeiro Cabaço, the Ambassador of Portugal in Poland, and Mr José Carlos Albuquerque da Costa Dias, the representative of the Camões Institute in Poland (an organisation promoting the Portuguese language and culture worldwide) to the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw.
The meeting, chaired by the Rector of our University, Dr hab. Konrad Janowski, also included the participation of the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Dr Adam Świątek, the lecturer and sworn translator for Portuguese Ms Grażyna Misiorowska-Rychlewska and the programme coordinator Ms Katarzyna Gutowska. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the scope of potential cooperation between our university and the institutions represented by the guests. The visit was also an opportunity to familiarise the guests with the UEHS development plans and its programme offer.
We hope that this meeting will be the beginning of a fruitful cooperation of all parties involved.
