International Academic and Business Council

The aim of the Council is to establish permanent cooperation between the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw and outstanding personalities from the fields of science, business and non-profit work.

Such relationships enable the development of long-term and significant projects aimed at bringing about positive changes.

The Council also facilitates business cooperation in education and the organisation of joint events. It brings together academic from various fields, business people, representatives of foundations, and non-governmental and non-profit organisations. The Council’s role is to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in line with the UN agenda, focusing on five aspects: people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnership. The Council’s experts also help organise workshops or lectures for our students and academic staff as part of the International Classroom.

The Council is chaired by Dr Adam Świątek, Vice-Dean of the School of Humanities and Fine Arts, who is responsible for cooperation business, non-governmental organisations and non-profit organisations.

The Deputy Chairperson is Dr Helena Błazińska, an academic teacher of classical languages.

The Secretary of the Council is Katarzyna Gutowska, Project Manager for International Cooperation.

Prof. Anna Llanos-Antczak, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, supervises the Council’s activities.
