Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC)
The Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) is an international certificate confirming English language proficiency, issued by Pearson/Edexcel.
These exams are intended for our candidates applying for admission to degree programmes conducted in English who do not hold documents confirming English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, in accordance with the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 30 July 2025 concerning documents confirming proficiency in the language of instruction at universities.
The Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) is officially included in the list of documents recognized under the above-mentioned regulation. The exam assesses the four key language skills:
- Reading – understanding written texts,
- Writing – the ability to communicate in written English,
- Listening – understanding spoken English,
- Speaking – communicating and expressing oneself in English.
Key information:
- Exam format: online
- Results: usually available within 1–3 working days, although in some cases they may take up to 10 days after the exam has been submitted.
- The certificate can be collected in person from the International Office at 59 Okopowa Street, 6th floor.

LanguageCert International ESOL B2 Communicator or higher (4-skills)
The LanguageCert International ESOL B2 Communicator or higher is a recognized certificate confirming English language proficiency required for admission to studies in Poland.

Exam results are available within 2–5 working days. The certificate is issued in electronic format, and most importantly, VIZJA University accepts the certificate in this format.

Cambridge Assessment English
Cambridge Assessment English is an international system of examinations and certificates confirming English language proficiency. The exams are developed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
For candidates applying for admission to degree programmes conducted in English, certificates confirming English proficiency at a minimum B2 level are particularly relevant.
However, at VIZJA University, we conduct Cambridge exams at various levels, including:

- C1 Advanced (CAE)
