When studying Global Economy at VIZJA University, you will learn about a range of issues necessary for understanding and analyzing economic processes on a global scale – such as the interstate monetary system, the principles of global commodity exchanges, and global economic crises. You will also gain practical skills in modeling economic processes and forecasting changes in specific areas of the economy or trade policy. During your studies you will also develop analytical skills and the ability to use modern tools and methods used in modern world economics. The curriculum continues the specialization module available in the undergraduate program in economics at VIZJA University. At the graduate level, we also offer two other specializations – see: Applied Economics and Quantitative Methods in Economics.

Global Economy - what can you do after graduation?

A master’s degree in Global Economy will allow you to thrive in positions related to:

  • foreign and international trade
  • international economic policy
  • investment consulting in foreign markets
  • analysis of economic processes and relationships on a global scale, as well as consulting or economic auditing

The study program is based on specialized issues in economics and the global economy, taking into account the current needs of the labor market. During the four semesters of the graduate program, students acquire the knowledge necessary for professional development in specialized and managerial positions. The program concludes with a master’s degree in economics.

FIRST YEAR OF STUDY

The first year of studies focuses on field-specific and specialization-centered courses, which introduce students to issues of international and regional economics, foreign trade, as well as the tools used in modern economic analysis.
