Are you interested in the tourism industry, organising trips and working with people? Would you like to gain knowledge that will help you better understand how travel agencies, tourist agencies, event companies and tourism-related institutions operate? Touroparation and Tourism Animation is a specialisation within the Tourism and Recreation programme. It combines preparation in tourist services, the organisation of tourist events, leisure animation, tour leading, regional studies, tourism services marketing and running business activity in the industry.

The variant with an additional foreign language differs from the standard programme variant by offering an extended language module – during your studies, you also take a second foreign language, selected from the language courses offered by VIZJA University. This solution is designed for people who want to be better prepared for work in travel agencies, tourist agencies, hotels, companies organising trips and events, as well as institutions operating in an international environment.

Touroperation and Tourism Animation with an Additional Foreign Language – what can you do after graduation?

As a graduate of this programme, you can develop your career in the tourism, recreation, event and Touroparation industries – both in Poland and abroad.

You may work, among others, as:

  • an employee of a travel agency or tourist agency;
  • a tour leader, holiday representative or leisure animator;
  • an organiser or coordinator of tourist, recreational and business trips;
  • a specialist in tourist services;
  • a specialist in institutions dealing with tourism, recreation and regional promotion;
  • an employee of event companies organising trips, events and animation programmes;
  • a specialist in administration or organisations related to tourism development;
  • the owner of your own company providing tourism, recreation or consulting services.

The programme includes major courses related, among others, to the functioning of the tourism industry, tourism geography, tourism services marketing, market analysis, law and insurance in tourism, the organisation of tourist events, risk management and modern technologies used in the industry.

You will deepen your knowledge of the organisation and delivery of tourism services. You will learn, among others, how to plan and organise tourist events, how to organise business activity in the Touroparation sector, logistics and transport in tourism, tourist animation, tour leading and guiding, regional studies, voice production and practical aspects of working with groups.

Hybrid Flexible Learning (HFL) for the tourism and recreation programme

When choosing the Hybrid Flexible Learning (HFL) mode, please note that some classes throughout the course of study, including practical workshops, must take place onsite with the physical presence of students. The block of onsite classes will be planned and announced well in advance for each year of study.

In the first year, students are introduced to general subjects and the first directional issues in the areas of tourism geography, finance or management – areas that form the foundation for understanding the specific tourism issues explored in the further course of study.
