Collaboration between BDD and the VISION Center in the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year

During the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the Didactic Excellence Office (DEO) and VISION – European Center for Multilingualism in Teacher Education collaborated on the organisation of three academic and educational events.

The first event was the official opening of the VISION Center, featuring a keynote lecture by Prof. Gessica De Angelis on multilingual testing and assessment. It was followed by two academic seminars: one led by Prof. Jean-Marc Dewaele, focusing on the challenges and opportunities associated with multilingualism and language learning, and another one led by Prof. UV Luis Pentón Herrera, devoted to the role of social-emotional learning in multilingual teacher education.

The events attracted considerable interest within our academic community and provided a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices among members of the academic and teaching communities.
