A symbolic beginning of an important investment
On 30 September, a cornerstone-laying ceremony was held for VIZJA Living Powązkowska. This symbolic yet significant moment officially marked the beginning of a new space designed with VIZJA University students in mind.
A shared event for the academic community and partners
The ceremony was attended by the Founders of VIZJA University, University representatives and invited guests. Representatives of the general contractor, Skanska S.A., and the architectural design office, Kazimierski i Ryba sp.j., were also present.
A modern space for students
The investment will include two modern student residence buildings with a total area of nearly 4,900 m². They will provide 135 student rooms as well as comfortable shared spaces designed to support integration, collaboration and the exchange of experiences.
A time capsule – a symbol of history and the future
During the ceremony, a time capsule was symbolically buried. It contained items connected with the history and identity of VIZJA University. This gesture linked the University’s past, present and future, and served as a reminder of the path taken by our academic community.
Foundations, values and community
An important part of the event was the address delivered by Canon Jacek Laskowski from the Powązki parish, who emphasised that “a building is placed on foundations, but a home is built on values.” These words strongly reflect the idea behind VIZJA Living Powązkowska – a place intended not only as student accommodation, but also as part of a modern, open and supportive academic environment.
Another step in the development of VIZJA University
VIZJA University continues to invest in the development of its infrastructure, creating better conditions for learning, living and building relationships. VIZJA Living Powązkowska will respond to students’ needs and mark another step in the University’s development as a friendly, practical and future-oriented academic community.
We are building more than a student residence. We are creating a space where students will be able to grow, build relationships and feel part of the VIZJA University community.
