Use your analytical skills to work in the logistics industry, which guarantees steady growth and job stability! Facing the need to optimize processes, logistics specialists are now being sought in the private sector and by government agencies.  Undergraduate studies in Logistics at UEHS will allow you to gain knowledge and skills to confidently enter a job market that offers plenty opportunities for logistics management specialists. During your student placement, you will gain your first work experience under the guidance of experts and practitioners from reputable companies or logistics departments.

Choosing to study Logistics at UEHS in the Transport and Forwarding Logistics specialization, you will explore field-specific issues in the area of management, economics, accounting, or law (commercial, economic, customs). You will also become familiar with economic geography, as knowledge of geographic zones, customs rates or the distribution of various elements of logistics infrastructure is an essential part of the calculation of means of transportation. You will also gain key knowledge from the field of commodity studies and distribution, as well as logistics marketing. The program includes 8 specialization courses, thanks to which you will learn detailed issues concerning the organization of domestic and international transport and forwarding, modern IT tools in transport or budget management in this particular branch of logistics. Transport and Forwarding Logistics – what can you do after graduation?

Having graduated in Logistics at the University of Economics and Human Sciences a wide range of career prospects open up, related to:

  • work in logistics and warehousing centers, container terminals, or companies and institutions with a logistics and shipping profile
  • employment in trade, distribution, warehousing or shipping departments in companies, corporations, and manufacturing plants
  • running your own business in the provision of logistics services, design and analysis of logistics processes or professional logistics and freight forwarding consulting services

Graduating in the Transportation and Forwarding Logistics specialization, employers will also be happy to hire you for positions related to domestic and international forwarding, transport and ground fleet management or cargo handling at airports and seaports.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics at UEHS offers comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed by future specialists in the field. Students of the Transportation and Forwarding Logistics specialization gain competencies in planning, executing, and documenting the supply chain in domestic and international markets, taking into account the specifications of goods, selection of means of transport, type of carriage, or required procedures. Graduates receive a bachelor’s degree in logistics.

THIRD YEAR OF STUDY

The third year of logistics studies is the period for the implementation of field-specific and specialization courses, the topics of which revolve around the strategy of planning and implementation of transport and forwarding. Students also complete their placements and, as part of their undergraduate thesis, carry out an original social project. Upon graduation, they receive a bachelor’s degree in logistics.

Scholarships - easier than you think

While studying at UEHS, you can take advantage of a wide range of financial support from the state budget and European funds, as well as benefit from special discounts with UEHS discount program

You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.  

Scholarship
The scholarship may be awarded to any student who obtained an average grade not lower than 4.5 in a academic year given.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 350 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 525 /month to PLN 1025 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

Sports scholarships

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.

Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

Special scholarships for disabled people

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 150 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1275 /month to PLN 1575 /month.

Allowances

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.

In 2021, we granted 40 allowances for a total of PLN 197,200. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 3,000 to PLN 5,000 at a time.
