November 15, the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw hosted seminars on the climate of En-ROADS. The seminar was attended by students from our university and high school students from friendly schools in Warsaw – almost 40 people in all.
During the workshop, participants proposed climate solutions such as renewable energy subsidies, new zero-emission energy sources, increased energy efficiency, a carbon tax, taxes on fossil fuels, reduced deforestation or technological removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The workshop leaders then tested these solutions with En-ROADS so that participants could see their perceived impact on various climate change impacts, from global temperature change to sea level rise.
The workshop was led by Climate Hub Hamburg, a group of climate educators who believe that humanity can thrive in a sustainable way. Each participant received an electronic certificate confirming their participation in the workshop.
Join future workshops and join us in exploring fact-based, action-oriented scenarios for the future climate.
