Why choose this field of study?

The development of the trade and warehousing market in Poland, especially in the era of e-commerce, means that the demand for logistics and freight forwarding professionals continues to grow. Do you want to grow in this area and gain highly specialized knowledge backed by professional practices? Graduate studies in Logistics at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsawwill enable you to acquire competencies with which you will develop or advance in positions related to the management of logistics processes on a national and international scale. The master’s degree program in this field is designed for those who already have a bachelor’s degree in logistics (or related studies).

By specializing Warehouse Logistics, you will deepen your knowledge in areas essential to every logistician, such as human resource management, finance, labor law, information technology, or marketing of logistics services. As part of the specialization module, you will focus on issues related to infrastructure management and warehouse management – you will learn, among other things, how to design warehouse processes, manage warehouse logistics and use IT tools used in warehouse logistics. Warehouse Logistics – what can you do after graduation?

After completing the graduate program in Warehouse Logistics specialization you will be prepared to work as specialists and managers:

  • in warehouse parks and logistics halls
  • in large-scale shopping malls
  • in service, audit or consulting companies in the transport, freight forwarding, and logistics industry
  • in national and international trading companies

Graduates of this program are also competent to conduct their own business in providing logistics services, managing warehouse infrastructure or designing and implementing modern logistics solutions.

Students of the graduate program in Logistics acquire interdisciplinary field-specific knowledge that allows them to develop professionally in the logistics service and management sector – both in local and international markets. The Warehouse Logistics specialization offers unique courses to help graduates effortlessly navigate the realities and challenges of the warehousing market using modern tools and processes. Graduates obtain a master’s degree in logistics.

FIRST YEAR OF STUDY

In the first year, students are introduced to the field-specific subjects that deal with advanced knowledge of logistics management in both theory and practice. They also participate in the first part of a master’s seminar, preparing to write their thesis the following year.

The third and fourth semesters involve deepening the knowledge of field-specific subjects on storage logistics. In the third year, students also complete placement and field practice, whilst preparing for the diploma examination.

Scholarships - easier than you think

While studying at UEHS, you can take advantage of a wide range of financial support from the state budget and European funds, as well as benefit from special discounts with UEHS discount program

You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.  

The scholarship may be awarded to any student who obtained an average grade not lower than 4.5 in a academic year given.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 350 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 525 /month to PLN 1025 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

Detailed information on the possibility of applying for the Rector’s Scholarship is available in the “MojeAEH” system.

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.

Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

Detailed information on the possibility of applying for sports scholarship is available in the “MojeAEH” system.

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 150 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1275 /month to PLN 1575 /month.

Detailed information on the possibility of applying for a scholarship for people with disabilities is available in the “MojeAEH” system.

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.

In 2021, we granted 40 allowances for a total of PLN 197,200. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 3,000 to PLN 5,000 at a time.
