On January 22, 2025, by decision of the General Director, Ms. Marzena Godlewska, a new administrative unit – the International Center – was established.
The creation of this unit marks a significant step toward further internationalizing our university.
Tasks and Goals of the International Center
The newly established International Center will play a key role in supporting international students, providing assistance at every stage of their education—from the recruitment process and adaptation at the university to graduation. Additionally, the unit will coordinate all activities related to the internationalization of UEHS, including:
- Organizing international exchange programs,
- Collaborating with partner universities worldwide,
- Promoting the university in the international arena,
- Supporting students and staff in conducting global research projects.
Support for the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation
The International Center will directly support the activities of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Dr. Maciej Kluz, who is dedicated to expanding the university’s international connections. Collaboration with the new unit will enable more effective implementation of the university’s internationalization strategy.
Team Leader – Agnieszka Maksymowicz
Ms. Agnieszka Maksymowicz has been appointed as the Coordinator of the International Center. With passion and professionalism, she will lead the office’s operations. Her experience and dedication guarantee the success of this new unit and the effective realization of its objectives.
Inauguration Ceremony
During the inauguration ceremony of the International Center, we had the honor of hosting Prof. Dr. Hab. Filip Gołkowski, Director of the Collegium Medicum of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University. His presence was a testament to the recognition of UEHS’s efforts in fostering global collaboration.
More Than Just Formalities
The opening ceremony took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with attendees enjoying an exquisite reception prepared by Vizja Food. It was a time for exchanging ideas, drawing inspiration, and celebrating a new chapter in the history of UEHS together.

The establishment of the International Center is not only a testament to our openness to the world but also evidence that the University of Human Sciences and Economics is consistently striving to build its position as a globally recognized university. We are confident that this initiative will make our academic community even more diverse, and collaboration with partners worldwide will bring tangible benefits to both students and faculty members.
