VIZJA University has joined the international Erasmus+ AI Researchers project (agreement no. 2025-1-PL01-KA220-HED-000358408) as an associate partner. The university’s participation was approved by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System – the Erasmus+ National Agency. This initiative focuses on analyzing the opportunities and challenges resulting from the use of generative artificial intelligence in the academic sector.
Objectives of the Erasmus+ AI Researchers project
The AI Researchers project is a research initiative dedicated to the use of AI technology in science. Activities within the project include analyzing technical barriers, developing ethical standards, creating recommendations, and preparing tools to support education processes. Project participants monitor the impact of artificial intelligence on the daily work of researchers and academic teachers.
The role of VIZJA University in artificial intelligence research
Membership in the consortium allows VIZJA University to introduce the perspective of non-public higher education into the developed solutions. The university participates in testing and validating work methods in various institutional models. The substantive contribution of the university staff includes the analysis of issues related to ethics and the maintenance of academic integrity in the era of the widespread use of generative tools.
Project implementation and international cooperation
Dr hab. Cezary Biele, prof. VIZJA University, is responsible for the procedure of including the university in the project and coordinating substantive activities. Currently, university representatives are participating in the preparation of the first study conducted by international partners. Participation in the AI Researchers program forms a basis for developing further scientific initiatives in the form of strategic partnerships within the European Research Area.
