Perhaps you already work in a field related to health and nutrition and are looking to expand your knowledge and gain new, practical skills? Graduate studies in Dietetics at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw are an excellent choice for those who want to acquire advanced knowledge based on the latest research and clinical practice, but also on the realities of the job market and the actual needs of patients and clients who use dietetic services. By choosing to specialize in Sports Dietetics at UEHS, you will join a group of highly sought-after professionals who share their knowledge and expertise with professional athletes and coaches, but also with others. The services of sports nutritionists are also increasingly utilized by amateur athletes as part of the development of their athletic ambitions, which requires conscious and long-term nutritional planning under the guidance of a professional. Importantly, as a graduate of this program, you will also gain the competence to disseminate factual knowledge and preventive health care in public spaces and social media. Note: Candidates with at least a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics are encouraged to enroll in the master’s degree program in dietetics, as well as related programs in health sciences or food technology.

With the increase in public awareness of healthy lifestyles, as well as the development of the culture and fitness industry, after completing the Sports Dietetics at UEHS many career options will open up to you.
After graduation, you can open your own dietetic practice or find employment in:

  • sports clubs – professional and amateur;

The master’s program focuses on key issues and topics in the field of nutrition for athletes and people with special dietary needs resulting from intense physical activity. Graduates, after submitting a thesis and obtaining their master’s degrees, are prepared both substantively and practically for professional activities and further development.

ONLINE STUDIES IN DIETETICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS AND HUMAN SCIENCES IN WARSAW

Due to the need for students to develop laboratory practical skills, when choosing an online degree program, some classes are also held on-site. The schedule for their implementation will be announced to students well in advance.

SECOND YEAR OF STUDY

The second year of the program is dedicated to expanding the student’s knowledge with additional specialized topics and courses in the field of Sports Dietetics. Students also complete an internship and a master’s thesis, the defense of which culminates in a master’s degree in dietetics.

By choosing to study at UEHS, you can be sure that the tuition fee will not change throughout the duration of your studies. You can pay the tuition fee once for the entire year of study or spread over a semester payment. This allows you to decide how you want to plan your expenses.

Scholarships - easier than you think

While studying at UEHS, you can take advantage of a wide range of financial support from the state budget and European funds, as well as benefit from special discounts with UEHS discount program

You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.  

Scholarship
The scholarship may be awarded to any student who obtained an average grade not lower than 4.5 in a academic year given.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 350 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 525 /month to PLN 1025 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

Sports scholarships

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.

Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

Special scholarships for disabled people

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 150 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1275 /month to PLN 1575 /month.

Allowances

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.

In 2021, we granted 40 allowances for a total of PLN 197,200. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 3,000 to PLN 5,000 at a time.
