Psychodietetics is undoubtedly the profession of the future – more and more people struggling with eating disorders, “stress overeating,” lifestyle diseases, or low self-esteem that can result from a lack of self-image acceptance, poor mental and physical health, or an unhealthy relationship with food are turning to psychodietitians for help.
Do you see your future as a specialist who helps patients through the process of recovery and improvement of their quality of life? Do you want to educate and support others to build self-confidence and stay motivated to change harmful eating habits?
This program will provide you with an in-depth, interdisciplinary knowledge of dietetics and nutritional psychology, as well as the skills workshop you need to run your own business or to work in specialized therapeutic teams.
Over the course of your studies, you will be introduced to the key issues in accordance with the latest knowledge and clinical and research practice. Most of the courses are workshop and laboratory based, so that graduates will be able to use modern methods, tools, and information technologies that support psychodietitians in their daily practice. Graduate studies in Dietetics at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw are designed for individuals with at least a bachelor’s degree in health sciences – which includes undergraduate studies in Dietetics. Psychodietetics at UEHS is also a good choice for psychology graduates – especially health or clinical psychology graduates – who want to gain additional professional skills.

Psychodietetics – what can you do after these studies?
After completing Psychodietetics at the University of Economics and Human Sciences you will be able to:
- set up your own dietetic practice and run a stationary or online practice;
- work in a public or private health center – such as a weight loss clinic, diet clinic, eating disorder treatment center;
- engage in nutrition education in the media (e.g., as a diet consultant, diet coach, influencer, editor of an industry site);
- find employment in companies, institutions and foundations that promote healthy lifestyles and the prevention of diet-related diseases and eating disorders.

Programme and structure of studies
GRADUATE STUDIES
(MASTER’S DEGREE)
The graduate program in Dietetics at UEHS focuses on key issues and topics in the psychology of nutrition. Graduates, after submitting a thesis and obtaining their master’s degrees, are prepared both substantively and practically for professional activities and further development.
ONLINE STUDIES IN DIETETICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS AND HUMAN SCIENCES IN WARSAW
Due to the need for students to develop laboratory practical skills, when choosing an online degree program, some classes are also held on-site. The schedule for their implementation will be announced to students well in advance.

SECOND YEAR OF STUDY
The second year of study is the period of deepening of the field-specific knowledge with further specialized issues, as well as the implementation of courses in the area of psychology of nutrition. The program also includes an internship, so graduates of the will be fully prepared to enter the workforce.

By choosing to study at UEHS, you can be sure that the tuition fee will not change throughout the duration of your studies. You can pay the tuition fee once for the entire year of study or spread over a semester payment. This allows you to decide how you want to plan your expenses.

Scholarships - easier than you think
While studying at UEHS, you can take advantage of a wide range of financial support from the state budget and European funds, as well as benefit from special discounts with UEHS discount program
You can submit most scholarship applications quickly and easily through your online account.
In the academic year 2022/2023, the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw awarded 350 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 525 /month to PLN 1025 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sport achievements at least national level. In addition we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg. the National Academic Representation.
Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.
In the 2022/2023 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 150 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1275 /month to PLN 1575 /month.

The allowance is a form of emergency financial assistance. Any student who found himself temporarily in a difficult life situation resulting from random events beyond the student’s control can apply for it.The allowance may be granted twice in one academic year, and the allowance is not granted twice for the same random event. Difficult life situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are an exception.
In 2021, we granted 40 allowances for a total of PLN 197,200. The allowances, depending on the student’s situation, were paid in the amount of PLN 3,000 to PLN 5,000 at a time.
