The visit was a key element of the University’s strategy for further internationalization and the development of partnerships within the European Higher Education Area.
International Cooperation within the U!REKA Alliance
U!REKA is a European university alliance focused on collaboration in fields related to the development of smart and sustainable cities, innovation, and cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The dialogue with alliance partners aligns with the strategic development goals of VIZJA University, including joint educational, research, and implementation projects.
The Visit of ISEL and U!REKA Representatives
The first day of the visit, May 7th, focused on integration, providing our guests with an opportunity to explore Warsaw during a guided tour of the Old Town. The official program took place on May 8th, beginning with a formal welcome, followed by a tour of the VIZJA University campuses and meetings with members of the academic and administrative staff.
During the meetings, the University presented its teaching and research potential, its dynamic growth, and various opportunities for international cooperation. Discussions also covered the prospects of VIZJA University’s further involvement in initiatives carried out within the U!REKA alliance.
The visit was of great significance to VIZJA University, both in terms of building long-term international relations and the University’s potential integration into the alliance’s structures. The meeting also served as an opportunity to showcase VIZJA University as an active, open, and reliable partner on the European higher education map.
We would like to thank the representatives of U!REKA and ISEL – Lisbon School of Engineering for their presence, inspiring discussions, and openness to future collaboration.
